decided to change this post and remove me from it
One of my favorite verses that reminds me that HE is creating something beautiful! But, I got to stay the heck out of His way so He can do it!
And provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3

Where are the pictures? I know what you mean about hair affecting your attitude (as silly as it sounds). We were visting Texas a few weeks ago and it was so muggy and my hair was huge. I felt frumpy and blah. As soon as we got back to dry Minnesota I had nice straight hair again and felt like myself. I keep telling my husband we can't move back to Texas because I enjoy my hair in Minnesota too much.
I'm speechless (not for long! ha ha)...I totally get your groove, totally! Hair grows, life changes, attitudes are meant to be changed and grown and tweaked and bettered...Bryan didn't know I cut mine (he loves it)...but sometimes simple things like taking a scissors to part of my vanity (hair) have the greatest meanings down deep, really deep where I needed it! I loved having long hair, it was pretty, but it was so tiresome and took forever to do...and now, like you, simplicity in my hair lets me take less time for that and more time to focus on what's more important, what inside, my soul, my family and just feel less "high maintenance" in my appearance! I so can't wait to meet you, your kind heart, your awesome look, your 'voice'...you really rock! Mel
